What is Salehoo?

Salehoo is a global product sourcing community with more than 65,000 members globally. Salehoo was created on April 10th 2005. Salehoo originated in West Orange, NJ then moved to Los Angeles, CA then to Boonton, NJ eventually landing in New Zealand. Salehoo claims to have about 8000 verified product sources that Salehoo employees test and verify themselves within their database . The majority of complaints with Salehoo membership services are wholesale source problems and refund inefficiency. Salehoo in my opinion as a registered member, is a very powerful forum community that allows for much discussion on a large variety of topics. The registered users that participate in the forum community are all very helpful, discussing and solving each other’s problems. Salehoo does have a robust supplier community also, but several members from time to time do encounter problems with a few of these suppliers. Salehoo actively adds and drops suppliers on a need to basis, so their sources are ever updating. Salehoo removes any and all dishonest suppliers from their database when members complain. Salehoo also goes beyond their call of duty to actually find each individual member leads on specific products by emailing them at support@salehoo.com. Salehoo’s customer service for a membership community is second to none, thats one of the most powerful attributes that this company possesses. Besides their robust supplier community, Salehoo also has a large number of dropshippers, liquidators and manufacturers that are all very negotiable when purchasing in volume. Many new members do not understand that face value isn’t everything and the first thing they want to do is check on these suppliers to really see if they have products for wholesale prices. What they fail to understand is that not every supplier source within Salehoo has pricing at or below wholesale and many of times they believe they have made a poor purchasing decision buying a membership to Salehoo. But this is not the case, Salehoo suppliers allow members many price reduction privileges when buying in volume and this is where Salehoo members have the greatest opportunity to profit in large amounts. As with any business model for selling products you make your money when buying low and that often requires buying in volume. Albeit, there is much room for profit if you don’t have the money to buy in volume also, but you can’t expect every supplier in Salehoo to have the ability to do this for you.

Can Salehoo Provide Legitimate Reliable Suppliers?

Without a doubt in my mind the answer is YES! Salehoo IS the largest directory of wholesale suppliers on the internet, point, blank, PERIOD! I have yet to run into any other source that provides what Salehoo does. They even have product sourcing from overseas where a member can import products for ridiculous prices and sell for much higher in the North American market. For sellers of auction related selling, such as eBay or Amazon, in order to find these suppliers one must scour the internet tirelessly and still they may have no success in locating their perfect supplier source. Salehoo replaces all this work with one giant list of supplier options.

Negatives

• Salehoo has suffered much controversy over their own negligence of hiring a free lance writer by the name of Terry Gibbs. Terry Gibbs owns a website calledhttp://www.salehoosucks.com/salehoo-scam.php where he attempts to discredit Salehoo on the terms of technicality’s, such as dissecting sale’s quotes like this one “With SaleHoo, you can be sure that you will find only the best and most genuine Wholesalers and Distributors that will sell you original, brand new, products at the most unbelievable prices”. As I said earlier not every supplier within Salehoo’s database is what this quote states them to be. There is no such thing as a perfect wholesale supplier list. There are some suppliers in Salehoo’s directory that flat out discredits their quote from above, but thats the natural world we live in. There will always be some level of corruption with anything you do, hell corruption even exists in the church! ( I am a God Fearing man so please don’t hound me from what I’ve said about the church.) Anyhow Salehoo hired Terry Gibbs as a free lance writer to write one of their info products called “How To Get Started On eBay” for Salehoo’s AuctionXfactor in late 2005. Soon after they copy was written and the AuctionXfactor was release, Salehoo was contacted by Terry Gibbs who informed Salehoo that he had actually added some copied portions into AuctionXfactor from his own AuctionRevolutionhttp://www.auction-revolution.com/ info product. As we all know this is plagiarism, taking shortcuts to this extent when hired to created a completely original product is despicable. Not needing to say, Salehoo was very disappointed and discredited him thereafter and ever since. This apparently angered Terry Gibbs to the extent that his animosity drove him to create a website trying to discredit Salehoo ever since.
• Not every Supplier within Salehoo’s database is what they should be. But I will say Salehoo does an excellent job of sifting out these websites when it becomes apparent through complaints of Salehoo members.
• Some suppliers within Salehoo’s database aren’t actual suppliers but rather the middlemen trying to make a profit.

Salehoo’s Customer Service

Salehoo provides a level of customer services that really goes beyond description. If you can’t find the proper supplier within their database, all there is to it is sending an email to customers service stating what you are looking for and what your willing to pay.

Salehoo’s user forum consists of more than 40,000 articles, Salehoo even has a paid community manager who’s job it is to ensure that everyones questions get answered. Salehoo even recently hired an experienced wholesaler to properly answer any and all questions concerning wholesaling.
